I am a experimental particle physicist and Professor of Particle Physics based at the University of Manchester. I currently hold a University Presidential Fellowship at Manchester, a Senior Experimental Fellowship at the IPPP Durham, and am a Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute, London. Previously, I held an STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowship and an EU-funded Marie Curie Research Fellowship, also at Manchester. Before that I was a postdoctoral fellow with Indiana University based at Fermilab, Chicago and CERN, Geneva.
I am a member of the ATLAS Collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider, at CERN, Geneva and the Darkside direct dark matter detection experiment based in the Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS) in Assergi, Italy. I am also a member of the DZero Collaboration at Fermilab, Chicago.
