Info on ranges depending on magnetic field, Ex, CM theta etc...

5 vs 6 sensor length HELIOS-like array

  • 5-sensors in sequence → 5 x 5cm = 0.25 m
  • 6 sensors in sequence → 6 x 5cm = 0.30 m

Lower magnetic field:
  • Gives very small gains at high Ex.
  • Loses lots of low Ex.
  • Allows lower CM-theta to reach the array.
